Jamberry nail wraps

Hi everyone!! I don't have disclaimers written at the moment but I want to take this time to say that I was not asked to write this. I want to share my opinion on the product and give some information about it.

I tried Jamberry nail wraps 3 times and NONE were successful! I thought that maybe it was me that was messing up but how could the same human error happen 3 times? I read the instructions 5 times, followed the directions to the T, and I still got crazy bumps in the nail wrap around the edges. EVERY single time it was the same thing. I am not talking bad about the company but there has to be something could make them work with my nails. I keep my nails clean, shaped, well kept, and I don't have ridges.

The instructions say to make sure your hands are clean and cuticles pushed back as far as they will go. Use rubbing alcohol to dehydrate the nails. trying as best as you can not to touch the back of the wrap, lift up the edge and place it as close to the cuticle as possible without touching the cuticle. Press firmly down the middle and pushing outward. Using something hard like a plastic cuticle pusher, press the edges of the wrap pretty hard so they stick. Next use a heat source like a blow dryer and put heat on the wrap for 10 second. Again push down firmly on the wrap then you're done.

These are the directions I was given and they didn't work for me. I will be looking into different directions to see if they might work better.

Update on my life

There are several things that I want to write about. This blog post may just turn into random ramblings by me lol anyways...

I planned on starting beauty school this year because I became so heavily involved in the nail polish world that it became my WHOLE life. Even though I have 2 young children, I still found so much extra time to "do" my nails on a daily basis. I took part in nail art contests by: Tip Top Nails South Africa. I didn't win but oh well. It was a lot of fun to do and I improved on my artistic abilities since the contest was I believe 12 weeks long. Back to the topic of going to beauty school... I planned on starting this year blah blah and I found out that my boyfriend wants to buy a house by the end of next year so I decided that I want to be completely settled and comfortable where I live before embarking on that kind of adventure. So, I shall be going most likely next year after we move. I am kind of impatient to start because it has been a passion of mine for quite some time but I think my plan is what's best for me and my family. Plus, I have 3 step daughters on top of my 2 children so paying for child care while I go to school and their father works will be so extremely expensive.

On another topic, I started eating healthy, lost 11 lbs then stopped my diet but continued to lose another 3 lbs. So now I am down 14 lbs in the last 4 months. I feel smaller, I think I look smaller but my clothes don't fit much differently. Oh well. As long as I know I lost weight that's all that matters. I also quit smoking cigs in February. It was a long time coming and I definitely feel 10x better. I don't cough and hack all the time and I don't get sick as often. I am on the right track to living as healthy as I can. YAY
